How to Install igv software package in Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

igv software package provides Integrative Genomics Viewer, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install igv

igv is installed in your system.

Make ensure the igv package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep igv *

You will get with igv package name, version, architecture and description in a table
